Acceptance of Terms

By using Universal Identity Protocol (UIP) services, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

Service Description

UIP provides biometric-first identity verification, digital signature, and encrypted messaging services through our API platform. These services are designed for legitimate business and personal use.

API Usage Restrictions

When using UIP's APIs, you must comply with the following restrictions:

Messaging API

  • No Spam: Do not use the messaging API to send unsolicited or bulk messages
  • Priority Levels: Misuse of priority settings (e.g., marking low-priority messages as "High" or "Extreme") may result in temporary restrictions
  • Rate Limits: Respect all rate limits and do not attempt to circumvent them
  • Content Guidelines: Messages must comply with applicable laws and not contain harmful or illegal content

General API Usage

  • Use APIs only for their intended purpose
  • Do not attempt to reverse engineer or hack our services
  • Maintain the security of your API keys and credentials
  • Report any security vulnerabilities responsibly

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination:

  • Phishing: Creating fake identity verification requests or impersonating UIP services
  • Business Impersonation: Using UIP to falsely represent yourself as another business or organization
  • Identity Fraud: Providing false identity information or attempting to create fraudulent identities
  • Illegal Activities: Using UIP services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Abuse of Trust: Exploiting the trust mechanisms built into UIP for fraudulent purposes

Enforcement and Traceability

UIP provides complete traceability through our business registration system:

  • All businesses must register through UIP with verified identity and business credentials
  • Every signature and message is permanently tied to the registered business identity
  • Business owners authenticate with their personal UIP identity, creating an unbreakable audit chain
  • Violations of these terms may result in temporary restrictions, account suspension, or permanent termination
  • We cooperate with law enforcement agencies in cases involving illegal activities
  • Complete business registration traceability ensures full accountability for all platform actions

Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your access to UIP services will be revoked, and any outstanding obligations will remain in effect.

Limitation of Liability

UIP services are provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of our services, except as required by law.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms of service at any time. Continued use of UIP services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
